C.S. Lewis
I work with teens, adults, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients come to therapy struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship or friendship challenges, family transitions (such as divorce or health concerns), self-esteem, identity or career exploration, grief and loss, and non-suicidal self-harm or suicidal thoughts.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to build a trusting, supportive relationship where you (or your teen or family member) can openly share thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. I strive to create a space that feels comfortable, collaborative, and real — where growth can happen at a pace that feels manageable.
My style is warm, gentle, and approachable. I often use humor when appropriate and provide thoughtful guidance when clients feel stuck in negative or overwhelming thought patterns. I aim to help clients build practical coping skills, develop confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
I use a client-centered approach, which means therapy is tailored to each person’s unique goals, personality, and needs. I often incorporate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while remaining flexible to what feels most helpful and supportive for each client.
Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, whether you’re reaching out for yourself, your teen, or your family. You don’t have to navigate challenges alone, and I would be honored to support you through the process.
