Carl Rogers
I work with teens, adults, and families who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of my clients seek support for anxiety, depression, relationship or friendship challenges, family transitions (such as divorce or health concerns), self-esteem, identity or career exploration, grief and loss, and non-suicidal self-harm or suicidal thoughts.
I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to build a trusting, supportive relationship where you (or your teen or family member) can openly share thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Together, we create a space that feels comfortable, collaborative, and real — where growth can happen at a manageable pace.
My style is warm, gentle, and approachable. I incorporate humor when appropriate and offer thoughtful guidance when clients feel stuck in negative or overwhelming thought patterns. I aim to help clients build practical coping skills, develop confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
I take a client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique goals and needs. I often draw from evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies to support insight, coping skills, and meaningful change, while staying flexible to what each client needs in the moment.
